Natural remedies for healthy glowing skin

Most of us come to wonder at times if asking for flawless or at least healthy looking skin is too much. Even if we rigorously follow the CTM (cleanser – toner – moisturizer) technique, apply sunscreen, anti aging products etc, it just does not always give us the results that we feel we deserve. But maybe we haven’t thought it through all the way and there are some other natural, let’s call them, remedies that we need to incorporate in our daily routine.
If we have patience, then our most desired dreams can become reality, so here are some brilliant beauty tips for your face to get that glow you’ve always wanted.
The home remedies for glowing skin will help remove surface dullness and reduce melanin production.
Hydrate your skin
Although hydration does come from the inside, there’s no way around the fact that we also need hydration applied directly to the skin. Lack of hydration makes our complexion dull and it accentuates wrinkles and premature aging.
It’s absolutely crucial to apply a topical moisturizer morning and evening to replenish hydration. Experts tell us that face lotions and creams are generally more hydrating than oils, serums, and other formulas, due to the fact that they’re emulsions (blends of oil and water components) that carry hydrating ingredients into skin’s top layers, helping it hold moisture.
Get your beauty sleep
Even a sleep pattern isn’t generally accepted by and applied to everybody, most of us do better sleeping at least 7 hours a night, after going to bed at about 11 PM.
If you don’t get enough shut eye, your skin gets tired just like you – it sags and you get bags. So don’t risk it. You can also apply honey on your face twice or thrice a week to naturally soothe and heal your skin.
And always remember to wash your face and moisturize before hitting the hay.
Eat antioxidant-rich food
Clearly what we eat has an effect on the way we look and eating the generally accepted antioxidant rich foods might just help us recover our skin’s natural glow. So load up on grapes, berries and nuts like pecans and walnuts, which are rich in polyphenols such as ellagic acid and resveratrol.
Go back to your roots
I don’t think we use ayurvedic remedies enough so this is why I thought that an ayurvedic scrub recipe would be just great in this context. It’s meant to nourish the skin and help it breathe better.
For this anti aging, skin brightening recipe you’ll need 2 tbsp chickpea flour, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ( filled with the powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent called curcumin), a pinch of camphor and sandalwood with some rose water/milk/water is your perfect skincare pack. Yes, the secrets of beauty lies in ancient Ayurveda.
And while we’re on the more esoteric side of things, try to incorporate the Sudarshan Kriya breathing technique that could rid you of spots and pimples.
It helps releasing accumulated stresses, and each individual’s experience is different.”
Do regular exercises
Running, jogging, cycling, pilates, yoga or even crossfit will give your body the necessary blood circulation, and also accelerate the cleansing process of your entire body. You will immediately notice that healthy glow on your face after working out.
Incorporate several other healthy habits in your daily life
Make some special timp for yourself, and try to avoid stress as much as possible. Have you ever noticed that when you are stressed, you tend to get all sorts of nasty unwanted zits or breakouts on your face and maybe even body? This is because stress causes your body to produce cortisol and other hormones, making the skin more oily. Practice stress management techniques like breathing exercises, yoga and meditation. The more you meditate, the more you radiate.
